McKay Métis Contracting, an entity of McKay Métis Group, is seeking an experienced Fuel Technician, reporting to the Team Lead/designate.
Turnaround Spotter
McKay Métis Contracting is looking for a temporary Turnaround Spotter, with potential for a permanent role. Reporting to the Team Lead, the Spotter will maintain communication with workers, monitor mobile equipment, control traffic in congested areas, ensure compliance with safety rules and permits, and stop or escalate unsafe work immediately. Participation in safety meetings and other duties as required is also expected.
McKay Métis Contracting is seeking an experienced Journeyperson Electrician. The successful candidate will bring strong technical skills in diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems while providing ongoing support to the BET team.
Heavy Equipment Operator- Grader
McKay Métis Contracting is seeking an experience Equipment Operator. This is a camp position working with one of our growing Oil Sand client contracts. The shift for this position is a 14 days on, 14 days off rotation working 12 hour days, with a half hour unpaid lunch.
Under general supervision, the operator will safely operate equipment to perform public works projects, road maintenance and construction activities. This an advanced position which involves considerable knowledge. The Heavy Equipment Operator position reports directly to the Superintendent and/or other designated leaders.
